Unique Artglass  - "Fauve Collection"

"Fauvism" - painting with strong and "wild" colors - was typical
for Henri Matisse and his contemporaries in France at the beginning of 1900.

We have created our own Fauve Collection in artglass by partly using the "pezzati" technique originally created by Fulvio Bianconi (1915-1996) for Venini Glasswork
around 1950, but also by adding new ways of working with "live" motifs in glass -
nothing is painted - everything is glass!

We were invited to exhibit the Fauve Collection at the Glass Biennale "Aperto Vetro" in Venice 1998-99 and we work with master blowers at studios in Sweden, Italy and France.  The latest collection was created together with Johansfors Glasswork in Sweden.

Each piece in the collection comes with a "Certificate of Origin" with a photo and is
signed with an ID-number and "Unique - Fauve Collection - Catti Åsélius Lidbeck".

Sizes vary between 12-20 inches, weight 4-6 kilos and price range is US dollar 2-3.000.
